ICS Ltd

I am a consultant on a distance learning psychology degree administered by ICS and validated by the University of East London (with an excellent QAA – quality - rating of 23/24). This involves writing study guides in statistics, research methods and psychology, writing exam papers and marking students’ work, tutoring students over the internet, and checking/editing the work of fellow academics.

RSPB

I provided data analysis, and a written report, of a public consultation survey on behalf of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB). I completed this on a voluntary basis because I am a member of the RSPB.

Professor Frank Hardman

I provided data analysis of educational data from Kenyan and Nigerian primary schools.

Hay Group Education

I have completed 7 separate contracts over the past few years for Hay Group Education. The contracts were as follows:

1. A statistical report on the results of a national survey of Headteachers and School Governors (about recruitment of Headteachers);
2. Data analyses for a project investigating culture in schools, and relationship to performance;
3. Data analysis of the psychometric properties of the Distributed Leadership Self Assessment Tool;
4. Data analysis of the psychometric properties of the 2002 Primary Classroom Climate questionnaire;
5. Data analysis of raw Classroom Climate and School statistics to suggest common areas of strength and weakness in the teaching profession;
6. Data analysis of the psychometric properties of the Primary and Secondary Classroom Climate questionnaires; and
7. Data analysis of Context for School Improvement data; related to the Leadership Programme for Serving Headteachers.
